No matter if you're young or old, male or female, we all want that special someone in our life. That someone to experience the world with, go on adventures with, have romantic date nights, and the reliability of their love. Anyone who says otherwise probably just got their heart broken. 

We all have different things we seek for in our partners. Some of us want someone to pass the time with, and enjoy cooking with partners, watching movies, and doing little daily tasks. Some people want a lifelong adventure partner, someone to see the world with them, travel, and go on spectacular trips together. Some people want someone that's going to mesh well with their family and friends, someone to hold their hand in everything that they do. 

For long-term partners, we all know the trajectory of our feelings going from obsessive compulsive to scrolling separately on date night. Even though romance ebb and flow in long-term partnerships, it doesn't mean it's less beautiful or romantic. To be so comfortable with someone that you don't even need to talk for hours is relationship goals. You can both do your separate readings and YouTube without the other being grossly involved.

  • I don't know why, but this meme gives me major Miyazaki vibes. I just imagine Howl and Sophie in his castle, in the breakfast scene where they make eggs and bacon. Miyazaki has a way of making everything look beautiful and romantic. Even his food looks delicious! It's such a romantic movie. It was my first favorite movie when I was 12 years old.
